Private family looking to hire a Full-time Family Personal Assistant in Raleigh, NC.

A very sweet private Family of 5 is looking to Hire a Family Personal Assistant. This role would ensure clean and orderly maintenance of the household by performing the duties in cooperation with other individuals and in accordance with household values and standards. They are looking for a candidate whose passion is helping others' lives run more efficiently. The mother is primarily a stay-at-home mom who is very involved with the children and their activities. The father is a busy professional who runs a tight schedule with his work and travel. They have three children – almost 2, 7, and 10 years old. The youngest is currently home full-time still. They are looking for an assistant who can help with general tasks so that the parents can focus their free time on their children.

They have had their current Family Personal Assistant for 9 years. She is making a career transition, so they are looking for a driven candidate to fill the role within their family. The current FPA would be involved in aiding in the family transition and the training of the new candidate.

Responsibilities: The family is looking for assistance in day-to-day cleaning/maintenance of their home, full family and linen laundry, cooking for the family, tagging in to help parents with child care as needed, errand running, etc.

Essential Job Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Perform laundering and ironing to ensure steady availability of clothing, bedding, towels and other household items 
• Complete daily housekeeping tasks (kitchen cleanup, dishwashers, making beds, picking up and organizing, vacuuming as needed, taking out the trash, etc.)
• Aid in full childcare responsibilities as needed
• Conduct deep cleaning projects as periodically identified 
• Carry out household upkeep (light bulbs, etc.) proactively 
• Assist with returns / exchanges (Post Office, UPS, FedEx) 
• Carry out routine checks throughout the day
• Work flexibly as part of the team to maintain daily requirements are maintained 5 days a week
• Report immediately any faulty appliances, damages to household items and any potential hazards

• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required with deep cleaning tasks as needed
• Cooking: Help Start and or Prepare Dinner
• Laundry: Full Laundry Required
• Ironing: As Needed
• Errands: 2/3 times a week Grocery Shopping, Mail, Returns/Exchanges, etc
• Driving: Required
• Travel: No Travel Required – Would be wonderful if needed
