The PSA Reference Vault™ platform revolutionizes the resume and job application process by offering comprehensive virtual resume profiles that seamlessly integrate verified references, education, employment history, and future aspirations safely, providing a holistic snapshot of one’s professional journey.
How does it work?
PSPs register and build their vault profile. Once registered, PSPs fill out a series of forms to gather all relevant aspects of their work history and give permission for the process to begin.
Then, independent, unbiased, third-party businesses (already used by hundreds of Domestic Placement Agencies) begin their work verifying a profile.
While a PSP waits for their document verifications to finalize, they can customize their profile to highlight previous experience and aspirations for future roles.
How does a PSP utilize their Vault once complete? When a PSP begins a job search, they include their dedicated link to their private PSA Reference Vault profile with (or on!) their resume. Anyone with the link can view general information stored in that vault. Principal Employers, Domestic Placement Agencies, and Family Offices can purchase limited access to reports held in a given vault.
How long does a PSP have access to their PSA Reference Vault profile? This is an annual subscription-based service. PSPs start with a registration fee that covers the initial costs of services and their first year of storage. Annual renewals provide continued storage and the opportunity to add updated content to their vault.

Yes, SOME Domestic Placement Agencies may still opt to conduct their own verifications. However, this will become less frequent as time passes and the Placement Industry fully adopts this streamlined process of vetting a candidate's background, identity, education, and references.

No. This career tool is currently tailored to roles within the Private Service industry. -
My account is 45 days past due. Are my verified references still accessible somewhere?
No. When a renewal payment is delayed, account access is temporarily frozen, and accounts that remain past due for over 30 days are deleted from the system. You are welcome to begin the registration and verification process again as a new client. -
How far back in time do Social Media and Criminal Background Checks go?
Typically, 7-10 years. However, older items may be discovered and be included in their respective reports. -
If a verified reference reveals something that I don't like, can I edit or delete the document?
No. All documents are locked and become part of your permanent file. This is part of the ethical verification process and why we rely on independent third parties to handle all verifications. If you are unsure how an individual will respond to standard reference questions, you may opt not to submit their name and contact information to your PSA Reference Vault for verification. -
There is a little issue from my past that may show up on a background check. What if I don't want anyone to see it?
You will be able to view the details of your background check (and other reports), but you will not be able to edit those findings.
